Accessing  Blissful  Love

Perhaps there are many questions that may have come to your mind when you are going through a crisis, or standing  at a crossroad,  or simply being in your average day to day humdrum state of awareness, such as:

“Why  am  I  here?  Why  all  the  confusion?  Why  the suffering?”

Sages and saintly  mentors  have always  reminded us  that  the  deepest,   most  refined,   most  sacred inner part of us, the part we call our soul, has its unique   divine   origin.   It  was  created   from   the Infinite One, the Source of all Life, Light, Loving- kindness and  Mystery called  the  Creator. They taught us that our soul is that essential part of ourselves which ever seeks the Presence of the Divine.  It experiences blissful, everlasting Love. It can connect us with glorious beauty, truth, oneness,  rapture,  exultation  and  creative  power. It seeks to infuse us with ever deepening  wisdom.

Our  soul  is  our  true  identity.  It is the channel that encourages us to awaken and remember  who we  are  truly connected with. Our soul  patiently waits for us and calls us always from behind the scenes.

​

There  may have been moments in your life when you were able to attune your mind and heart with your  soul.  In those  blessed  flashes  of perception, you could begin to behold the great ocean of unknown power,  of Love and infinite  potentiality manifesting as Life and Beauty. 

 

This  power  has been called by many different names, such as the Infinite  One, The Almighty, the All-Merciful One and many others.

In  the  course  of  thousands  of  years,  holy  men and  women,   sages,  mystics   and  prophets,  have been blessed  to experience the Eternal  Creator  as a Being of eternal love, grace, power, kindness, truth… mystery...  It is our destiny and highest calling to perceive and feel this eternal Presence always  there for us, aware  of each of us, listening to us, guiding  us with every opportunity we give it to communicate with  us. 

 

We  truly can choose to listen and to interact  in trust with this Being of absolute intelligence and perfection. We can begin to sense this staggeringly awesome Power sustaining and aware of every  soul, every conscious being and all the myriads  of extraordinary, powerful beings  of Light infusing the cosmic  dimensions of the worlds around  us.

Our sages and mystics wondered: “Why were we created?”  “What  is  our  purpose?”  They  probed again and again in the profound depths of their meditation,  seeking   to   understand  the   reason and intent for the creation  of mankind  and of the Universe. And their answer  came shining  forth:

“The Eternal, all powerful  Supreme  One desired to share blissful Love with us, with all created beings.”

We   are   created in God’s image.  Our Creator created us with free  will to be ultimately embraced in  blissful love,  as well as  returning this love in a magnificent flow of giving and receiving! Our  Creator  eagerly  supports and sustains each of  us  through our many experiences  here  and  beyond, until we learn to give and receive love in ever increasing joy! We can choose to do this in our daily affairs with the people around  us.

 

We  can  let  go of self criticism as well as the criticism of others. We  can forget about blame, guilt and regret  in our life situations and those of others.  We can choose to make our days beautiful with our attention  centered  on  gratefulness and love for others  and especially for God. We can do this through  our unique  privilege of free will. We can begin  anew at  every turn. Step by step we learn.

Our doorway to understanding and experiencing the reason of our   existence in this world is through loving, caring and supporting others,  as well as ourselves. 

 

Have you noticed that the moment you begin to really appreciate and truly love  someone, your life become enhanced with joy and aliveness?  Suddenly you realize this is the most wonderful thing that can happen  to you.

Giving and receiving blissful Love heals you. It connects  you with the heart of the Universe, with all Creation and with our Creator.

INVITATION TO JOY

 

We are all invited to experience joy. We are meant to experience joy every day, intensely. Divine joy is waiting to pour into our awareness. Divine joy is waiting to be invited in. It sometimes comes bursting forth. Like children frolicking in a sunny playground, in the beauty of nature, joy dances in our heart. Perhaps we have experienced moments in our life when we feel light, we feel a bit inebriated, we love and forgive everyone, and we are in love with our surroundings. We walk in the streets laughing, we feel like dancers, moving freely, swiftly; blissfully grateful to be alive. The world is a wonderful place to be in.

 

We all yearn to find the secret of finding real joy. Joy comes from within. It is a state of being that has its source in our own innermost depths.  It is encoded in the DNA of our molecules. When we feel joy we often feel it tingling in the very cells of our body. Our entire body responds to it with well-being, with a new surge of energy. Our steps are light. Joy is the essence of our being. Therefore, we can trust that joy can spring forth from within us quite unexpectedly, quite abundantly, for no apparent reason to us. Joy is our natural state of being!  This is why it surfaces so easily at times for every silly reason.

 

 

OCEANS OF LOVE

 

It is time for us to choose the Light. We can carve small openings through the layers of our usual set beliefs; we can pierce through the veils of those limited, fearful beliefs. We can especially rise above the fear of the great unknown. We need to behold some of the sun's radiant light through that opening - just a little light will reveal to us some of the awesome brightness of the sun and give us a hint of the vast heavens above us.

 

We can begin to trust that we can love and that we can be loved and that we can live in joy - every moment. That it is right and natural and easy. That it is the normal way for human beings to be. We can trust in the love of the Divine Presence, this marvelous Presence sustaining the universe with its harmony and balance, with its surges of creative life, with its rhythms and pulsations, with its beauty and grace.

 

We can trust in the personal love of our Creator. We can trust in the special plan designed for each one of us. We can trust in the special vision for each of us that was and is dreamed by the Divine Dreamer, the vision that is real, that is true reality, the vision of our immense potential.

 

Oceans of love are waiting to be revealed to us, ever since we were created.

 

 

 

 

 

FAITH

 

Faith is a seed planted in each human heart at birth. It is up to us to nurture it, to tend it and watch it grow. Feeling the wonderful quality of love: the way we feel when someone is dear and close to us. How joy and laughter appear spontaneously. How we sometimes can feel this new rush of life within, this comforting warmth, which brings us consciously or not to a perception of the sacredness of life, a flash of understanding of its beauty.

 

Beloved, Master of the Universe,

 

You seek to reach out to us; You yearn for us to receive the gift of faith. You present this gift to us, this inner knowing of Your reality, in a myriad of ways, waiting for us to behold it, to reach out for it, to accept it. This gift peers out at us from the heart of every blossom, speaking to us of the beauty, grace, softness, harmony, vibrancy and mystery of the life force - this Life that can spring forth such perfection effortlessly out of dirt, water, air, sunshine, and a seed.

 

The gift of faith majestically waits for us to look up at the sky wondering at the glorious power of our sun that shoots forth its awesome fiery light through eons of time. Faith silently waits for us to look at a starry sky to remind us of the mind-staggering vastness of Creation, filled with exuberant power, extraordinary wisdom, infinite abundance, perfect order, and lavish creativity.

 

 

 

THE POWER OF PRAYER

 

What is this mysterious power that some of us have been privileged to tap into? This power has transformed our lives, as well as the lives of our loved ones. We human beings have access to more power than we could dream of.

 

Prayer could be described as the way we create around us a force-field of high intensity through our faith and yearning and desire and love.

 

All effective prayer rests on the quality of our love. Our love connects us to the Infinite Source of all Life, its substance, its essence. When we truly love, we experience a spark of that divine essence. When we love divine wisdom, divine joy, divine kindness and mercy, we connect ourselves to the source of all power, all bliss, all love. Then we are able to help our loved ones through that love. We become one through the sacred link of universal love. We become one with the love of the Supreme One, and we become one with those we are praying for. We embrace them in that divine, healing, all powerful love.

 

Our love, prompted by our commitment to divine eternal true reality, to the beauty and harmony of wisdom, will bring to our loved ones new lights of understanding and a new desire to experience that deep wisdom, to taste of its many fruits, its many life-giving fruits.

 

Our spontaneous love for Creation is in itself a great power simply because of who we are, for we ourselves are a spark of the Divine. But when we pray for our loved ones and our love is consciously connected with the All-Mighty Creative Source, the Beloved Eternal One, it becomes immensely powerful.

 

 

VIBRANTLY ALIVE

Every cell of our body was created to tingle with vibrant, blissful life.

Our heart is the receptacle of love and is created to burst forth in joy with the fire of divine love.  Our heart sends forth the ebulliently rushing flow of life through our bloodstream, nourishing and bringing new strength to every cell and fiber of our being.

The countless billions of neurons of our brain cells are the receptacle of divine spirit, created to radiate forth the fire of divine bliss, inspiration and creative thought through the myriad fibers of our nervous system, causing movement, initiative, action, energy, through our body, our thoughts, our feelings.

Our breath flows forth through our being, purifying, cleansing, reviving our blood stream, bringing life from the atmosphere, and blessing our brain cells with a sense of aliveness and peace.

All our faculties dance together as one human being, a sacred being of inspiration and fire – a magnificent creation of divine genius, a wondrous receptacle of the miracle of life, a unique creation, precious beyond comprehension.

We are that creation.  It is our privilege, our destiny, our calling, to choose to be who we are created to be – vibrant, blissfully alive.

 

 

 

INTUITION

 

The Master of the Universe wishes to communicate with us through our faculty of our intuition. This is the language through which He can really talk to us. We can attune to it, get used to it. We can communicate in this divine language of thought energies, this flow of blissful feelings, this flow of images flashing by like quicksilver, this profound inner knowing - this experience of being.

 

In the depths of our inner being we know that our Creator exists, that he is here, that our lives are in His hands. When we are really open, unafraid and willing to receive and understand, this deep inner knowing begins to manifest in our thoughts and ideas. It is a natural state of being. We see this in many people who have preserved that state from their childhood; simple, uncomplicated people. That basic inner knowing can remain with us when we chose to strengthen this awareness and are willing to live by it.

 

The designs of the Infinite Creator for us are so vast. He plans for us glory and abundance, bliss eternal, love abounding, and infinite beauty. How do we connect with our intuitive sense?  There are a few simple, practical ways.  We can still our mind, focus on relaxing our body, choose to be quiet in peaceful surroundings and persevere in remaining as still as we can. Practicing deep breathing and visualization exercises are effective approaches that work magically, as well as soft music, exercise, dancing, and reading uplifting spiritual teachings.

 

We can still our minds. We can choose to persevere in quietness. We can go much deeper in our search, in our dedication to true Reality. We can focus more on the true essence, the true nature of the Master of Creation that can manifest within us in blissful flashes of perception. We can see His miracles, His gifts wrapped in robes of light, we can feel His peace, His guidance, we can hear His voice, we can receive a taste of His blessings, His loving kindness. Our minds can be flooded with the beauty and grace of His presence.

 

How do we connect with our intuition? If nothing else works, we can pour out our heart to the Divine Presence. We can tell that Presence all our difficulties, our yearnings, our temptations, confusions, weaknesses, strivings, plans, hopes, desires, dreams. Soon we will receive our answers, simple, practical, encouraging, and loving.

 

 

The Master of Creation is waiting for us to speak to Him.  With practice, this trusting way to communicate becomes natural and easy and essential in our lives. And then, barely have we spoken and shared our troubles with Him already the answers come tumbling in, clear and obvious and comforting, strengthened with deep inner conviction. We are grateful to Him for the answers that can appear at the tip of our tongue, at the tip of our pen.

 

WE are being guided through life.  The Master of Creation is waiting for us to be willing to be His open channel for His answers, for His words, for His light... When we can make ourselves empty of empty thoughts, of silly trifles, of useless worries and judgments, then we can love Him, rest in Him, create with Him, eat and sleep and play with Him in our heart, our mind and our innermost being.

 

 

 

THE MYSTERY OF WHO WE ARE

 

How can we understand the nature of our soul?  I couldn’t.  But through a grateful prayer we can receive a few glimpses of who we are in truth.

 

Beloved Master of Creation, You gave me my soul, Your loving gift. The real me is part of You. It is created from Your pure essence, Your pure being; gifted with Your faculties of love, intelligence, radiance, self-initiative, wisdom, blissful awareness and much more.

 

You created our beautiful planet and solar system so that we might unfold our evolution in this physical existence. You placed us here to be Your messengers.  Your ambassadors of goodwill, Your free agents.  We are here to merge the light of our divine soul with this earth, so that we may bring heaven on earth.  We are here to bring love where there is anger and hatred, comfort where there is pain, wisdom where there is fear and confusion, joy and blissful awareness where there is despair.

Our divine soul is here to reveal Your light, to illumine our consciousness with Your wisdom and truth, to express Your beauty, to guide our actions, to reveal the goodness of Your Presence everywhere, at all times. 

Our divine soul is here prompting us to allow the flow of Your currents of life to flow through us, causing us to become a channel of Your life into our world - like a powerful brilliant shaft of light from the highest source pouring down through us and deep into the earth, blessing it, blessing it... blessing all creation. This powerful beam of light pours down into us, vibrates from within and radiates from us.  It is expressed as strength and joy, healing comfort, love, friendship and kindness, clarity, wisdom, trust, deep inner knowing and much more.

You created us in Your image, we are bound for Your immensities of love and for an eternity of joy, beyond our imagination. You are all goodness, abounding in loving-kindness, in grace, in mercy and in truth.

Master of Creation, sooner or later we will be able to understand this. You give us plenty of chances to begin again. Thank you for each day, each moment, each new opportunity for learning, growing, getting stronger, tasting new wisdom, choosing love, expressing gratitude and joy.

Your plan for us is so vast, filled with awesome potential.  As we remain connected with You in love, life becomes a great adventure, filled with the joy of discovery, the passion of creativity, and fulfillment in deeds of kindness.  Each of us has a special, unique destiny to fulfill; each of us is an essential part in the great tapestry of life.

You created the Universe through the power of Your love.  You are the One inspiring the love in every mother and father's heart.  Like a most loving parent, You plan greatness and happiness for us.   You treasure us.  You cherish our individual uniqueness and You wait for us to wake up to our magnificent destiny and calling, each of us in our own way. You are waiting for us to perceive Your divine light, to honor Your voice and trust in its unfailing wisdom, to listen to its whispers and quiet guidance. You are waiting for us to follow its prompting, so as to make our paths easier and filled with light and joy, illumined with a wonderful sense of direction, of purpose, of peace.

 

 

 

WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW FORTUNATE WE ARE

 

We live in wonderful times blessed with helpful, exciting new information available to us, in most every field of knowledge.  And immensely more beneficial and precious to us is our access to wider and more encompassing information in the realms of our soul and spirit.  We are blessed with the teachings and writings available to us from great saintly souls, sages and masters of loving kindness from our times and from all the centuries of our past.  Their most unanimous urgent plea, at the core of their teachings and example was for the cause of love – love of our Supreme Creator, love of our fellow man, love of wisdom and kindness and virtue, love of all the blessings of life, love of the beauty of Creation, love of our immense potential.

 

We have no idea how fortunate we are. Great souls, masterful souls and sages have revealed an awesome secret to every soul willing to comprehend and accept their truths. They told us again and again that we belong to the most awesome Eternal Being in the universe, our Creator; reminded that our inner being is created in the very image of this All-Powerful Creator, and that we can actually communicate with this intelligent, creative, Power of Life, this infinite all-knowing Source of love, wisdom, strength, bliss, exultation…

 

We can communicate with our Creator in the ways that are most familiar to us – for He loves us and wants to put us at ease.  We can speak to our Creator as to a loving friend, parent, teacher, guide, or loved one.

 

Beloved Master of the Universe,

You are the One who created the joyful bonds of friendship.  You are waiting for me to choose to be Your own best friend. 

You are the One who inspires the unconditional love and devotion in mothers.  You are my most loving, dedicated Mother, yearning for me to address You like a child does, in complete trust, resting in Your arms of tenderness, safety and peace. 

You are the Eternal Father, the Source of strength in loving fathers.  You are committed forever to my welfare, to my wellbeing, growth and success.  You are eagerly waiting to grant Your magnificent inheritance to me when I grow up.

You are the One who is patient with me forever, through all my failings and mistakes, waiting for me to express in my life this patience that conquers all obstacles. 

You are the One who is All-Powerful and Creative.  You are longing to see me be willing to become a pure channel for Your all-healing and creative power.

You are the One who is filling the infinite heavens with glorious joy, with delight, rapture, exultation and bliss.  You are planning to crown me with the fire of this bliss and heal my heart with infinite joy.

You are the One who is the Master of the Universe.  You are silently waiting for me to open my eyes to the majesty, the splendor and glory You want to share with me and every soul when we commune with You.

You are the One who created the life-giving power of love.  You cherish, protect and care for me always.  You are waiting for me to taste of Your infinite love for me and to reflect this love on all the people in my life in true friendships, compassion, devotion, generosity and kindness.

 

 

 

BLESSING WITH LOVE

 

What does it mean, blessing with love?

 

Blessing with love means tuning into the ever compassionate magnanimous will of our cosmic eternal Creator.  It is embracing that will, lovingly holding that will in our heart, expressing it, and becoming a messenger for that will so that it may manifest in the lives of those we bless.

 

This is the way we were created to be.  We are meant to be co-creators in this world.  We are given the merit of this wondrous process of creativity. 

 

We are all created to bless each other.  It is our calling.  We are created to be a channel of divine blessings.  We are meant to bless our Creator, our loved ones, other people, our earth itself and all that touches us.  A child can do it.  As much as we may find ourselves unworthy to do this, we can still trust that blessing with love is tuning in with the will of the Master of Creation for each of us, and communicating it to others.  It is just the right thing to do.

 

On deep inner levels, we human beings are all connected together through the subtle and mysterious invisible bonds of our thoughts and feelings.  The most powerful bonds between us are those of love, a love that heals and restores.

 

We are all meant to live in harmony and loving support with each other.  It heals us.  One beautiful way to bring about this reality is to know the power that has been given to us, namely the power to bless with love.

 

Many of us have great difficulty tuning in with the love and blessings that the Infinite One is constantly pouring down on us, giving us life.  Perhaps we don’t trust it, we don’t feel it, we don’t want to be fooled or maybe we feel we don’t deserve it.  We are imprisoned in the ignorance of our physical human condition.  We walk around in a world of illusions that seems very real to us.  We ignore all the miracles that surround us.  Yet we are basically profoundly yearning to give and receive real Love, a Love that heals us and gives us safety, peace and joy. 

 

 

Why not try and experiment with blessing with love?

You can bless silently, persistently, without anyone even knowing about it.  Countless people have done this before and have been amazed at the results!  Many books have been published about the extraordinary effects of loving blessings that changed other people’s attitudes, their health, their situations, their experiences.

 

The people you are quietly blessing will unconsciously sense it.  Even if their attitude toward you is negative, it will change.  Sooner or later their thoughts will be softened.  Suddenly they may even reach out to you for no seeming reason!  They will be open to your quests, to your teachings, to your wishes, to your love.  They may truly love you back more and more.  We are all linked together through our soul connections and the quickest way to manifest new bonds of love is through blessing with love.

 

A PERSONAL STORY:

STAYING IN TUNE WITH GOD’S BLESSINGS

 

I was very comfortable in Zurich, working for a multi-millionaire who owned the Bally Shoes company, as a French – English secretary. He liked me very much. Being a dreamer, and always giving everybody the benefit of the doubt, I wasn’t aware of the growing jealousy of some of the staff.

 

One day, when the owner was away for a day or two, I was fired from my position, and asked to leave immediately.

 

I wasn’t angry. I went to sit by the lake shore. The sun was glittering its beautiful light on the waves. I prayed. And suddenly, I realized, “What in the world was I doing sitting all day working behind a desk, when here we are in a gorgeous time in June, when the world is shining with possibilities? I am 22 years old, and I need to explore the beauty of this world!”

 

On the spot, I decided to travel to my native city of Geneva, and 2 days later – I met my beloved Joshua. We have lived “happily ever after” since that time.

INVITING MIRACLES INTO OUR LIVES

 

When my dear husband, Joshua, and I first came up with the idea of writing a book about divine intervention for the Jewish people, we made up a list of all the personal stories we had heard from our friends, as well as our own. Within a few minutes, there was enough material right here to fill a book! So, with Joshua’s strong encouragement, I began the project of writing down these events. Very soon many more stories were unexpectedly brought our way, practically falling into my lap. For instance, an old faded evening newspaper, dated one year previously July 24, 2002, had been dumped in the forest next door. My son, Ziv, noticed it as he took a walk with his children. He brought it to me and dropped it on my lap. This paper was exactly what I had been looking for! Its two full front pages photographs and articles were dramatically relating the Pi Glilot miracle in Haifah that had averted a major disaster for the entire area. I had inquired a few times about the details of this event, but no one could well remember.

 

Miracles happen more often  than we will ever know. If all the miraculous events in Israel would be  reported, they could fill an entire encyclopaedia. Most people, when asked about it, will have at least one story to tell. I watch  their face light up with gratefulness, enthusiasm and wonder  as they  begin  to speak about it. Most of these stories are fascinating, certainly more inspiring than talking about the weather or politics.

Miracles usually happen in totally unforeseen, often bewildering and playful  ways, as  if orchestrated by the all-knowing, benevolent, all powerful  Presence who knows all our thoughts, all our choices, our ability to receive and to take courageous action, our good intents and also our helplessness  and  fears. This Presence is always there to guide, inspire and encourage us.

​

The trouble is that most of the time we are not conscious of that invaluable saving guidance. Somehow, we  are  raised  in  this  world  with  ear muffs  and blinders  on. So divine Providence has to use  creative  ways  to protect  us and guide us, and sometimes it does this by planting an idea into someone’s receptive mind.

​

Many times that suggestion happens to be logically incongruous or mistaken, but it also happens to be perfect to save a situation that could have been horrific. At times we are also rescued through the life-saving blunders   from  our  enemies. It is through their own sudden irrational decisions or imaginings that disasters and much suffering and trauma for us are prevented.

​

We can see in these stories that our lives do not ultimately depend  on  the  ruling  power  of heads of  state  or  of  weapons. In reality, our fate is depending on our heartfelt connection with  the  Power  and  the  Presence   of our Infinite Creator, through our love and prayers. It is also depending on  the mysterious and intricate designs of our higher purpose and destiny.

You  may  ask:  “How can we invite miracles into our lives?”

We have learned from our Sages that we, human beings, are  blessed  with  the  extraordinary potential of connecting with  the  infinite, all knowing,     ever present Power that created, sustains and renews all Creation. At every moment, we can  connect  with  the ways  and  will of God. This divine will  is ever  seeking  to infuse us  with  wisdom,   peace,  strength,  love  and  joy. This is our greatest miracle we can choose to open our heart to this blessed will and then witness what our creator can  orchestrate for  us. We can chose to walk in harmony  with it.

When hearing this,many people will groan: “Me? Connecting with the Creator? Opening my heart? Loving people? Not for me!”

 

Even though establishing this connection seems difficult,  it  is  easier  than  it  seems, because our soul is created in the image of our Creator. Our essential  self, our soul, this great  mystery, is a spark of the Infinite One who sustains us. It is a channel for the Light and Love of the Source  of Life.  It is destined to be a co-creator with the divine plan of creation.

 

You may have persistent questions:

• “How can I feel the love of the Creator?”

This happens when you choose to express loving kindness toward others.

You can trust that Love is your foundation of wellbeing, strength and bliss. You can choose to drop the criticism and anxieties and instead, to love at every turn. With Love you experience pure delight, healing, harmony and peaceful oneness. You can begin by loving the people that touch your life, remembering that everyone needs love, most of all. You can love the beauty, the awesome masterful designs and creative genius that are bringing forth life. You can love the One who supports you all and you can begin to reflect His love to His children.

 

Perhaps you may have noticed the glow of blissful joy that appears on the face of those who love unconditionally. You can also live like that.

• “How can I experience the joy and fulfilment of creativity?”

You can choose to be creative in a way that enhances and benefits life. Like most everyone else, you have an urge and wish to express yourself with creative ideas, thoughts, words and actions, with the eagerness of children. When you find a way to enhance and inspire the lives of others even with just a smile, a kind word of support, a considerate suggestion, you feel blessed and fulfilled.

• “How can I experience divine Bliss?”

There are many ways you can begin to feel it when you focus on the blissful awareness of holy mentors, sages and saintly people. When you love wisdom, when you love what is healing and strengthening to your whole being, bliss will dawn on you spontaneously in flashes of higher perception, peace and love.

​

This simple formula really does work for everyone. When we follow it, soon our prayers become spontaneous, sincere, connecting us with a new Light. And the wonder is, we then begin to receive unexpected miracles. Our life does improve steadfastly and sometimes dramatically.

 

 

You can realize that our Creator is not short of resources! Many wonder: “How can we really pray? How does it work?” Indeed, prayer is a mystery: Do we really know who we are addressing? Behind the word God is a vast ocean of mystery!

Our mystics and sages have sought to convey some of their awe and love toward the Infinite, Supreme, all-encompassing, eternal Presence. They have taught us that this ocean of mystery is also the loving, compassionate Presence of the Almighty One. They have sought to remind us that this Presence is silent, still, peaceful, gentle, yet it creates and sustains all our lives and the entire Universe at every moment!

This Presence transcends all creation; yet It keeps it all real and alive!

This Presence is beyond all which we can see or sense; yet It eternally plays Its melodies over the harp of our soul.

Who can tell the secret of prayer? What is this power that can manifest blessed outcomes in such a spontaneous, natural way, as with a child requesting food and love from father or mother?

How can we understand the mysteries behind the world of prayer?

What is this power that will restore health, heal relationships, bring peace and strength, open the gates of inspiration and sustenance? What is this power of intercession that brought the last two World Wars to an end? What is now preventing a nuclear holocaust? What caused the colossal communist regime in Russia to fall apart without violence in 1988? What is miraculously protecting the Holy Land of Israel every day in ways we have no comprehension of? Without divine protection from the highest Source, mankind would soon destroy itself or make life simply unbearable. But there is help from Heaven because enough people are wholeheartedly reaching out for the divine Source of all kindness and Life and praying for protection.

What is Prayer?

Prayer is remembering we are not alone – Remembering there is a Power, a compassionate, all knowing Presence always here supporting our life at every moment,

Remembering we can ask for help, protection and guidance,

Asking for freedom from our fears,

Asking to be conscious of our immense potential, conscious of the infinite, loving kindness of the Presence of God.

Prayer is calling for the highest blessings for our world and all those who touch our lives, Realizing God is here to answer us,

Realizing God knows our needs even before we ask and is delighted when we ask for help, Realizing God’s overflowing desire to bless us, learning to open our minds to these blessings, Realizing God’s will for us is in accordance with a cosmic divine plan touching eternity.

Being grateful, knowing all our prayers are answered even when the answer is not always seen, not always the way we anticipated.

Prayer is remembering we are God’s children, Prayer is remembering our need for true joy, for mercy, for all good, Prayer helps us remember who we are in truth: precious souls from Infinite, blissful, loving Realms. Remembering our longing to express who we truly are.

Prayer is reaching out to the Presence of the Eternal One, our magnanimous loving companion and sustainer, gratefully watching our process of growth unfolding through this wonderful companionship. Prayer is surrendering all our hurts, fears, jealousies, disappointments, rage and sadness and placing them in the healing flow – from the Supreme Source, to be transmuted. Watching them being dissolved quietly, peacefully, as we let God take charge.

Prayer is:

Communing with the heart and soul longings of others,

Blessing them with all good from Heaven,

Being enfolded in grace, in serenity, realizing that this good is a gift inherent to us,

​

Sharing it with those we want to help and comfort.

Trusting that, this good is always here to be manifested.

Prayer is sensing the awesome Presence of the eternal, supreme One. This Presence surrounds and infuses us. It graces us and blesses us. This Presence is giving us life and ever renewed opportunities for experience and choice on the playground of planet earth that is created for us. Prayer is asking the awesome One to flow His healing influx through us,

 

Prayer is gratefully watching His secret patterns of perfection vibrating through every muscle and bone, gland and artery, nerve and cell and molecular structure of our physical frame

Prayer is feeling this awesome Presence breathing through us, beating our heart, playing its gentle pulsations of life through us.

 

Prayer is rejoicing with the sacredness, the inner bliss of life. Being enraptured with the divine eternal love, which is strengthening us, nourishing us with beautiful energy, endowing us with the freedom to choose our thoughts and actions and to create through them. We are grateful to all, for our awareness destined to expand into glorious realms of joy.

Contemplative prayer is learning to listen to the intuitive voice of our soul, trusting it, again and again, following its gentle promptings, acting on them with love, trusting that whatever will happen will be only for a blessing.

 

Active prayer is feeling joyful enthusiasm while taking care of others in need, welcoming them, blessing them, being playful, joking and laughing with them.

 

Compassionate prayer is listening to others with a full heart, caring and supporting them, showing real concern, compassion and respect. Prayer is loving them.

Insightful prayer is asking for clarity and focus in listening to inner guidance, following it, and courageously acting on it.

 

Dedicated prayer is asking for the strength to stand on the front lines, to be a faithful servant of God and a friend to all, calling for help while engaged in teaching, guiding, assisting, counselling, loving, blessing. Trusting in the help and being grateful for it.

 

Prayer is simply love in action in our heart, our mind and in every activity of our many days.

It is tasting the joy, ecstasy, bliss, celebration, from realms on High.

 

It is tenderness, compassion, friendship, care, Prayer is holding in our heart those we love, entrusting them in the hands of the Supreme One, Creating a powerful, life-giving, sacred bond of oneness, with them and with the loving Presence of God.

Prayer allows us to become a channel of divine Light… Loving kindness in action… Radiant peace…

Blissful purpose…

 

We can begin to understand God by seeking to emulate some of His divine qualities in our own lives: such as the bliss of loving kindness, peace and harmony. We can focus on the passion of creativity, with perseverance and strength. We can learn healing wisdom, we can choose empathy and compassion, and so much more. Our immense privilege is that we can manifest these qualities in some way or another in our lives, because our true inner self was created in the image of the Divine Presence. Our soul is a fiery, eternal spark from the cosmic, creative Source. We can always begin again through prayer.

 

What is this mysterious potential of ours, called prayer? How is it that with some people, it is enormously powerful? Why don’t we use our faculties?

 

Throughout history our many great sages, holy men and women, giants of the soul and spirit, as well as myriads of average, simple people prayed constantly.

Some have been able to express a bit of their inner experiences with prayer, which give us a glimpse into what prayer meant to them. Each had their own unique approach. Their prayers are so beautiful and touch the heart of countless people privileged to hear them.

Some prayers might inspire you to write down your own soulful yearnings in prayer. Doing this is like taking an elevator to higher realms of awareness.

Prayer is merging our will with the Divine glorious, ever beneficent will, entrusting our requests and needs into the inscrutable, masterful plans of the Eternal One, designed for our highest blessings.

 

Prayer is loving God with all our heart and soul, with our utmost intensity, loving God’s awesome mastery being reflected in Creation, loving God’s creativity manifesting in the beauty of a blossom, in the majesty of nature and in the intricate designs of cellular structures, loving God’s stupendous creative power revealed in the countless worlds filling our heavens, loving God’s generous bounties that lovingly support life in a myriad ways, Loving God’s kindness, which faithfully nourishes and strengthens our own lives, so that we may awaken to eternal truth and learn to live in utmost joy.

Prayer is singing and dancing ecstatically in the awareness of God’s Presence, entrusting all our life situations into the hands of our Eternal Friend here to help, trusting, trusting like a child curling up in mother’s loving arms, feeling comforted, revived, reassured, nourished and guided.

Prayer is asking for heavenly wisdom in our mind and heart, recognizing and rejoicing in the perfect designs of our destinies and purpose.

Prayer is lifting our inner being to the Supreme Eternal One, drawing close, focusing deeper, and deeper again, blessing the entrancing beauty of the Holy Presence, capturing glimpses of fiery bliss, feeling purified, renewed, regenerated.

Prayer opens the gates of knowledge:

Knowing divine companionship is ever present with us, opening our heart, opening our awareness to this constant, loving Presence, knowing our true identity as magnificent, fiery souls originating from the source of infinite Light and Good, knowing we are created to manifest this Light into our lives, this bounty of goodness and kindness and precious, joyful life energy, knowing we can awaken our dormant faculties, we can choose to revive, to forgive, to let go of our petty insecurities, jealousies and fears. We can choose to transmute our challenges into the blessings of growth, inner strength, courage, determination and wisdom.

Knowing we can heal, we are meant to heal, realizing our healing is already waiting to be received in our heart and mind.

WHO SAYS I NEED A THERAPIST?

 

For  many  of  us  human  beings,  giving  and receiving   blissful   love  is  not  at  all  easy.  From infancy,   most   of  us  are  deeply   traumatized  in some  ways with our experiences and incidents  of hurt and rejection, lack of personal  attention  and respect,  and  sometimes  much  worse.  This happens  because  we  live  in  this  world  of ignorance and pain. How can we learn to trust enough  and open our hearts?

​

One way to learn is through  simply  remembering that  there  is  a  loving  Presence   that  created  us, that    created    our   beautiful    planet    and    solar system.  This  Presence  gives  life  and  sustains  us at   every    moment,    so   that    we   may    express

ourselves   in  our  thoughts,   feeling   and  actions. You  can  choose  to  communicate  and  pour  out your  heart  to  this  compassionate  Being,  as  to  a best friend or mentor.

 

There  is  also  another  formula  that  can  lift  you into an altered state of awareness:

You  can  write   letters   to  God! In   direct   simple words. You can share all of your cares, yearnings, dreams,  and  all  the  personal  inner  secrets  that you even forgot about. Eventually, when the connection is  well  under  way,  you  can  listen  to the  answers   that   will  flow   spontaneously  into your  awareness.

 

Conversing with  God  will  open your    awareness    by    leaps    and    bounds.    The answers   may  surprise   you.   They   come   with  a sense  of  peace  and  inner  confidence, a sense  of being  treasured,   listened   to  and  honored.   And much more~

 

 

You   may   want   to   convey   these   answers   into words   and   choose    to   communicate   them   to others. Or you may write them down on paper. In this  way,  you  know  these  healing  messages   are on record, like valuable jewels that cannot be misplaced  or forgotten.  You will find them  again and receive their benefit any time you read them. This method is powerful. It reveals some of your infinite resources.

 

I heard many personal  testimonies of people who have benefitted immensely  through this reassuring,  compassionate,  clear  and strengthening inner counseling. It answers one’s questions and gives innovative suggestions with practical steps for every situation at hand. These messages come with a Love that warms  and heals the   heart.   In   awed   gratitude    tears   are   often flowing    forth,    cleansing   and    restoring    one’s whole being.

 

More than we  know, average people are blessed to experience  the Presence of God in similar ways. And the great saintly people and masters of loving kindness have exemplified this most poignantly through time.

 

Blissful Love is our essential  nature. We yearn for it. Our love for God and for others brings us health, well being, growth. It expands our understanding. It dissolves jealousy, fears, resentments and hatred.  Blissful  Love enlightens our vision and creative intuition. It brings healing comfort with heart wisdom. Choosing to love fosters  harmonious relationships and lasting friendships with fulfillment,  peace, loving care and all good.

 

We are created with the faculty to connect with intuitive wisdom and  love.

We can invite  this  blissful force to consciously reside in our own heart.

Writing a Letter to God

A simple exercise that can transform your life.

 

Years ago I took a class from a wonderful, inspiring woman by the name of Janet Levy. She was an exceptional speaker who taught the art of creating a full, confident and joyful life for ourselves.

​

Among other teachings, she offered a remarkable formula that she urged us to use in order to resolve the many challenges we face in our life and the lives of others.

​

“This formula will open doors to your intuitive knowing,” she declared, “It will bring you harmony, inner strength and direction. To practice it you need to trust and go beyond your doubts and inner resistances. It is amazingly simple. Yet it can open doors you never dreamed of.”

​

We all wanted to know: What is this formula?

​

“First, take a pen in hand and a sheet of paper,” she told us. “Now write a letter addressed to God. This is a letter of grateful appreciation.  Better yet, let it be a love letter.”

​

When we first heard this, there was a chorus of objections.  “What am I supposed to say?” “I don’t like to write.” “I’ll sound stupid.”  “What do we do with it?  Take it to the post office? ”

 

“I promise you, God won’t laugh at you!” she said with a smile of complete confidence. “When you write a letter to God, you are walking right past your negative pride and your self-doubts, your fears, and your reservations.  You can pour out your heart as you would to a very best friend or as to the ideal father.  Perhaps the ideal one you wished you would have had.  Unload all your problems and worries, all your fears, disappointments, grudges, heartbreaks and all your shortcomings.  Place your hopes and dreams in His loving attention.  Ask for help in developing trust in His eternal compassion and power to free you.

​

“After you ask, stay still and wait for the answers.  When you open your heart and listen, God’s own understanding will appear in your mind and flow spontaneously.  Clear directions and loving support will be there for you.  These instructions are immensely valuable to you. And remember to write down these precious insights before you forget them.”

​

Like everyone else, I was resistant to take pen in hand and write this letter. But I tried it, I wrote my letter to God.

​

And the experience surprised me.

​

Soon I had a flow of ideas and practical answers for my life’s situations, written there in black and white on my sheet of paper, accompanied with a sense of inner certainty, harmony and peace.

​

Words began to flow effortlessly, glowing with healing energy and confidence, I felt reassured and deeply moved.  Here was a level of communication with God that felt natural and easy.  I could pour out all my feelings and questions and, lo and behold, there was a response!

​

The more I addressed the Beloved, Infinite One and kept listening for the answers and writing them down, the more I was flooded with warmth, comfort and clarity. 

​

As it is for most of us, these subtle inspirations can come and go like the wind.  Our mind is so restless.  When we are privileged with moments of deep, prayerful intent, inner focus and inspiration, we are gradually lifted into a place of peace that is there waiting for us to access.

​

Try writing your letter to God, and see what happens.
