How do we listen to our inner guidance?

Divine Guidance speaks to us through our soul, through our most sacred, essential, inner self. Very likely, we may have heard it before, especially when we were young children. Only we didn't realize what it was. Perhaps we thought it was just a comforting, pleasant, peaceful, warm feeling. But it was soon forgotten in the busy activities of our life.

The voice of God is tender and reassuring, enlightening our mind with wonderful new thoughts and understanding. When we listen with trust and silent receptivity, it speaks to us of immense love and caring, always there for us. According to our needs, this voice feels like the voice of a loving mother or father, best friend or mentor, teacher or companion. For many it is the voice of the supreme beloved One, the Eternal Presence, the voice of divine Inspiration.

In our world, we get very busy with a myriad of activities, with concerns, desires, plans, and schemes on how to get things done and how to get what we want. This is all good and necessary, but we do not realize how we allow these concerns to take all our energy and fill our everyday with stress. They do not leave any space for the voice of our soul, the voice of God that speaks of peace and the love of the Infinite Presence.

The reality is, when we persevere in tuning in to the voice of God. to true Reality, to the magnificent energy from on High waiting to assist us, we do accomplish much more in our physical world of practicality. Somehow, our dreams and plans are manifested with greater ease. Our concerns are blessed with solutions, and our activities are graced with success. Love glows in our heart. Our challenges become exciting opportunities for service and growth. We focus on the help from Above, always there for us. New energy surges forth, allowing us to walk through our difficulties with compassion and generosity of spirit. We are blessed with wonderful friendships and companionships, with synchronistic events creating success to appear. They are a gift freely given.

Listen to the voice of God, always there for you. With some attentive perseverance, you can hear it, even in the midst of your daily activities. In case you are too stressed with so many things happening around you, or confused and swept up in the turmoil of your emotions, persevere and know that this too shall pass. Persevere in taking deep breaths. Persevere in doing activities that are good for you, activities that you would recommend to your own best friend. And when calm is restored, divine harmony sets in. Release…Peace… Serenity… Trust… Listen…
